Data Literacy Skills
We live in a world obsessed with data, we rely on it for all aspects of our lives. But not all data is created equal. Sometimes it can be deceiving and contain unknown biases that will significantly affect interpretation and application.

We will provide the knowledge and skills to question providers on the provenance of their data, to understand how to spot bogus or unrepresentative data and how to develop a healthy level of data scepticism.

We will highlight and explain some of the commonest interpretation mistakes so they can be avoided.

Please note that this session will be a live repeat of the Data Literacy Skills training session which ran on Friday 1st May. If you attended that session, you do not need to attend this one.
